RAHNEE & ZARHAN FASTFIRE

Rahnee was the second chief of the Wolfriders, after her father Timmorn. She is the younger sister of Laststar, who is almost identical to her in appearance.

Rahnee was chosen to be Timmorn's successor because he left she was the strongest of all his children. He announced his choice for her to be the next chieftess before the whole tribe when she was still a cub in the tribe's eyes and told her to choose her name. She debated on several names including, Stagslayer, Lonehunter and Starcrossed, while the tribe called her lesser things, Firstchosen, Timmorn's Daughter, etc.

Rahnee also inherited her father's problem of the two bloods within her - the wolf blood and the pure elf blood. Unlike Timmorn, whose blood was combined, Rahnee's two bloods fought with each other, never becoming one inside her. Finally, her bloods settled when Zarhan recognized her and gave her her soulname, Rahnee. Up until then she had been She-Wolf and without a name for her elfin self. Before Zarhan had Recognized her, she had spoken with her mother, Murrel, about the names that she heard, Zarhan's and Sharpears'. It may have been possible that she was to Recognize Sharpears, but that never happened.

Rahnee was presumed to have been killed by Allos during an attack, however, Zarhan refused to believe that she was dead. Zarhan later left to search for Rahnee and found her in the care of Trickster's Clan. There she healed herself using magic obtained from Timmain, shapechanging magic, and healed the crushed bones of her hips and back. Upon waking from her healing trance, which lasted over ten turns, she Recognized Merolan. Their child has never been named. It is unknown when Rahnee actually died.

Rahnee had silver or blonde (in some of the comics) spindly hair and purple eyes.

Rahnee She-Wolf was instrumental in developing some of the "rules" of hunting that the Wolfriders live by to date, including : "Never with cruelty or meanness." "Never a mother with young if there's another choice to be made." and "Never in jest or the lust of the hunt." She acquired the remaining members of "the hunt" from her father and incorporated them into the tribe, making them official Wolfriders. She was the first to form a bond with a wolf as a rider.

Zarhan Fastfire was the son of Enlet and an unknown female. He was a firestarter for the tribe with limited fire-making abilites. Since the time he was born, he knew Rahnee's soulname and waited for many turns before he forced it upon her when he challenged her accidently.

Zarhan used his fire-making abilities to create glass, which the tribe didn't understand and dabbled in making fish hooks from bone to supplement the tribe's diet of fresh, raw meat.

He Recognized Rahnee many times and together they heard many soulnames in their minds while joining after Recognition struck. It is not known if all of these children were ever born or not. Zarhan Recognized other members of the tribe, even though she didn't. Zarhan left the tribe when Rahnee was "killed" and searched for her until he found her with Trickster's Clan. There he Recognized Rahnee one final time, and Cheseri. It is unknown how or when Zarhan died.

Zarhan has green glass beads woven into his braids and his knife has a likeness of Rahnee's wolf Silverice on it. He also has fire-red/orange hair.
