Atlas is the Titan who bestows his incredible Stamina to Captain Marvel. One of the members of the Mystic Sextet with little active participation in the DCU, it is known that was contacted (in his Roman version) by the Wizard Jebediah, later known as Shazam, during the Age of Myth in one of his travels to Rome.
It must be assumed that during those days, the wizard that in the future would be known as Shazam, made an agreement with the Titan of the possibility of giving a portion of his power to the future champion.
Most likely, many years later, after the deaths of Solomon and Achilles, seems that Atlas participated in the spell that the wizard made to gather all these powers.
It may be assumed, that the Greek counterpart lived on New Chronus, where the new Titan, Donna Troy was taken when she was a child to be trained by the Titans of myth, as their chosen warrior, in one of the lives that this young girl lived as a result of the abduction of Dark Angel.
During the War of the Gods unleashed by Circe, the roman Atlas faced Heracles under Paradise Island, until his mysterious dissappearance, only to be called forth in the recreation of Captain Marvel during those days.
Is most probable that, during the Genesis crisis, both Atlases fusioned after this event becoming one. It is not clear in which manner, the events that were set in motion by Uxas (the New God Darkseid) into weaken the Greek gods and making them divide into two beings, could have had consequences among the Titans.
