Doctor Ovi Kintobor

Name: Doctor Ovi Kintobor

Bios: Doctor Ovi Kintobor was the only human on the Planet Mobius. It is theorized that he crash-landed on the Planet during a space flight from Earth, although the true nature of his arrival on Mobius is not revealed. Kintobor loved Mobius, nevertheless, and wished to see the Planet rid of all evil. He constructed a large underground laboratory where he built the Retro-Orbital-Chaos-Compressor, or the ROCC, which was powered by the Golden Rings of Mobius. Kintobor tracked down six Emeralds and used them in conjunction with the Golden Rings to absorb the evil of the Planet and seal it within the gems. The ROCC kept the Emeralds sufficiently stable but Kintobor’s dream would be incomplete without the stabling powers of the seventh Emerald, the Grey Emerald, which he just could not find.

It was during Kintobor’s search for the elusive Grey Emerald that Sonic stumbled across the Doctor’s base. Kintobor was fascinated by Sonic’s extreme speed and built him a special treadmill to practice his skills on and gave him a pair of power sneakers to improve his grip and ensure his running would not send sparks flying all over the lab. During one of Sonic’s speed sessions, Sonic broke the sound barrier and was burned blue by the shockwaves. Shortly afterwards, Sonic handed Kintobor a rotten egg whilst the Doctor was about to work on the ROCC. Kintobor tripped and landed on the ROCC’s control panel, causing it to explode and scatter the Rings across the Planet. The evil of the Emeralds was absorbed into Kintobor’s body along with the shape of the rotten egg and Kintobor was transformed into the evil Doctor Ivo Robotnik, his true personality somehow written onto a Golden Ring.

Ovi Kintobor remained locked away in the back of Robotnik’s mind and part of him aided Sonic as a computer program. However, when the Brotherhood Of Metallix caused Robotnik to never have been created, Kintobor became the leader of an underground resistance against the Metallix in an alternate future of Mobius. Kintobor met Sonic and Chaotix as they were travelling through time to stop the Brotherhood and Kintobor gave Sonic a special device that caused the Metallix to attack each other. Sadly, Sonic was forced to cause Kintobor to transform into Robotnik so that they could return to the true future and Robotnik could initiate the Metallix’s self-destruct.

After Robotnik’s Emerald powers were taken away from him, he shrank to an unimaginable size and found himself in the micro-universe of Shanazar. Upon is arrival, all the rage and evil somehow left his body and he reverted back into Ovi Kintobor once more. The natives, who had never seen an outsider before, treated Kintobor like royalty and they made him their Grand Vizer. Kintobor managed to re-construct the city’s sewage system and ordered Sonic to be set free when he travelled to Shanazar looking to track down Robotnik. Princess Kupacious forced Kintobor to take Sonic to the Mystic Mountain for the ritual sacrifice of a group of children to a bunch of evil genies. Whilst there, Kintobor fell ill and was unable to take his specially made serum in time. Once more, he transformed into Doctor Robotnik and this time it was permanent, as the evil dictator destroyed the serum and began to initiate his revenge on Mobius, which eventually led to his descent into madness.
