Name: The Marxio Brothers
Bios: Grouchio, Chicio and Harpio are the Marxio Brothers, three vaguely familiar Italian-stereotype electricians who are under the service of Doctor Robotnik. Coming from a place called Super Marxio World, they were first placed as the supervisors of the Casino Night Zone to ensure that the citizens would be hypnotised into becoming compulsive gamblers. After their defeat, Robotnik placed them under the supervision of a similar Zone on the Floating Island, the Carnival Night Zone, which they constructed to bring visitors to the Floating Island who could be turned into Badniks. This plot was soon uncovered by Knuckles, who fought his way through the Marxio’s and, by striking a fault-line on the edge of the Zone, smashed the entire Carnival Night Zone off the Floating Island and sent the Marxio’s plummeting back down to Mobius.
Many years later, following Robotnik’s defeat, the Marxio’s legitimately purchased the Chemical Plant Zone and asked Sonic to investigate strange occurrences within the Zone that were hindering the clean-up process. This led them to find Megatox, who was intent on polluting Mobius. Sonic managed to defeat him, but the Marxio’s claimed they had no idea Megatox was there and appeared to legitimately be interested in restoring the polluted Zone, apparently having become reformed characters.
