Name: Metallix
Bios: The first of many Badnik’s designed to imitate and match Sonic’s every move actually wound up never being created. Project: Metallix was a special campaign my Robotnik to create the strongest, most powerful Badnik of all time, one which could do everything Sonic does and match it ten times over. The result, after prototypes such as Mecha Sonic and Silver Sonic, was Metallix, a sleek, fast, intelligent machine that kidnapped Amy Rose and used her to lure Sonic to Never Lake. There, the two fought, with Metallix besting his biological counterpart and fleeing up to the Miracle Planet, which had been over-run with Robotnik’s mechanical technology. Sonic followed but could not defeat Metallix. Help came in the form of Sonic himself, as a future version of himself travelled back in time and handed Sonic the Time Stone. Sonic used it to travel back in time and destroy the machine that Robotnik had used to covered the Miracle Planet in metal. As a result, the time line was altered slightly, erasing Metallix from history and trapping Sonic and Amy on the Miracle Planet for a month.
However Metallix wasn’t destroyed. An automated factory in the Special Zone kept producing model after model to create an army of Sonic Badniks. Eventually they grew their own consciousness and became the Brotherhood Of Metallix.
Metallix popped up again long after the defeat of the Brotherhood Of Metallix, when Robotnik spawned a Metallix using his God-like powers he had received from the Chaos Emeralds, but Sonic was able to defeat it. Indeed the Metallix model proved to be everything Robotnik had hoped for and a whole lot more.
