Name: Porker Lewis
Bios: Porker Lewis, once known as Oscar The Pig in the Special Zone, a name he tried desperately to forget due to the fact that his association with the criminal Hammerhead meant he was a wanted criminal in New Tek City, grew up in the Green Hill Zone and is one of Sonic’s oldest and closest friends. Porker’s best friend is Johnny Lightfoot and the two of them were frequent victims for Robotnik’s Badniks. Porker is very shy and nervous by nature, but he is extremely useful and knowledgeable when it comes to anything scientific. It was Porker who managed to download Kintobor’s personality off a Golden Ring and onto a computer. Porker journeyed with Johnny, Sonic and Tails to the Special Zone where they were flung six months into the future by the Omni-Viewer. After Robotnik’s Troopers became increasingly more violent and thorough in their patrols, Porker and Johnny became official members of the Freedom Fighters and earned the “Sonic Jacket” and jeans.
Porker found himself tied to a roller coaster track with Sonic when they tried to liberate the Casino Night Zone. Luckily, Sonic saved him from that predicament and after Sonic defeated The Marxio Brothers, Porker rigged Robotnik’s hypnotizing machine to explode. Porker Lewis slipped up not to long after that when he accidentally told Captain Plunder where to find the hidden Chaos Emeralds, however Sonic easily retrieved them before rushing off to save Amy from the Metallix Badnik. Porker’s technical knowledge was stretched to the limit after Robotnik launched his revenge of the Freedom Fighters by storming their base, Porker managed to download the Kintobor program back onto the Ring and later on to a portable laptop as the Freedom Fighters were forced into mobile hiding as “Bob Beaky’s Travelling Circus”.
Porker put his brain into action to help unfreeze the Pleasant Zone, figure out Robotnik’s gateway to the Ice Cap Zone, fight against Predicto (although Porker’s fighting left a lot to be desired) and liberate some citizens from Metropolis City. Porker Lewis came into play in a big way when the Freedom Fighters travelled to the Miracle Planet to stop the Brotherhood Of Metallix, Porker rigged a Metallix to explode and destroy the Metallix but was forced to stay on the Miracle Planet to re-set the Alpha Device, which would stop it from transforming the Miracle Planet into a metal hell. Thus, Porker was left stranded on the Miracle Planet for a month.
When it returned, Sonic and The Chaotix Crew travelled to rescue him. After destroying a fake Metallix designed to impersonate Porker, they found him being held hostage by the Emperor Metallix. In the eventual fight, Porker began to break down and lose his nerve. Consequently, Porker handed back his jacket and left the Freedom Fighters to join the Emerald Hill Folk on the Floating Island. Though at first Sonic was mad about this, he accepted it and wished Porker well.
Porker Lewis found his retirement to be quite active, however, as he tried to help Knuckles repair and understand the ancient systems of the Floating Island. Porker and Knuckles became involved in Robotnik’s plan to transform the Emerald Hill Folk into a living computer but after the Black Asteroid caused an Electromagnetic Pulse to wipe out all of Robotnik’s computers, Knuckles defeated Robotnik and Porker quickly captured the evil Doctor. While Knuckles sent the Emerald Hill Folk back to Mobius, Porker stayed to continue to help out. This eventually led to Porker facing his past in the Special Zone and successfully clearing his name.
After Grimer managed to hack into the Kintobor Computer and send it after Sonic, Porker returned to Mobius to install a security system into the Kintobor Computer to ensure it would never happen again. After Robotnik became depressed and Grimer unleashed Chaos to help motivate his master once more, Porker Lewis constructed a device that would neutralize Chaos. After Johnny’s heroic sacrifice it appeared that the machine had worked. However Chaos had simply fled to the Floating Island in order to absorb the Chaos Emeralds. Porker was not present for the final battle and victory over Perfect Chaos and Super Sonic but his brave efforts to help out the Freedom Fighters have always paid off and helped to ensure the final victory.
