In 1992, the team of writer Gerard Jones(Green Lantern, Justice League America) Penciller Joe Staton(Green Lantern Corps, Green Lantern)and inker Terry Beatty teamed up to create one of the best selling comics that year,--GUY GARDNER! Gerard Jones's excellent writing, Joe Staton's expressionistic, yet cartoony artistic style, and Terry Beatty's beautiful inks complimenting those pencils. The Guy Gardner franchise did extremely well that year.
NOTE: Guy Gardner isn't the only Green Lantern to have his own title. Alan Scott starred in the All-American Comics back in the 1940's and now in JSA, John Stewart had Green Lantern: Mosaic, which ran for 18 issues in the early 90's.
