"I am the Alpha and the Omega," says the Lord God, "who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty."

The Infinity Gems

Whatever is finite, as finite, will admit of no comparative relation with infinity; for whatever is less than infinite is still infinitely distant from infinity; and lower than infinite distance the lowest or least can not sink. --H. Brooke.

There can not be more infinities than one; for one of them would limit the other. --Sir W. Raleigh.

1. Unlimited or boundless, in time or space; as, infinite duration or distance.

2. Without limit in power, capacity, knowledge, or excellence; boundless; immeasurably or inconceivably great; perfect; as, the infinite wisdom and goodness of God; -- opposed to finite.

deity \De"i*ty\, n.; pl. Deities. [OE. deite, F. d['e]it['e]
1. The collection of attributes which make up the nature of a god; divinity; godhead; as, the deity of the Supreme Being is seen in his works.

nihilism \Ni"hil*ism\, n. [L. nihil nothing: cf. F. nihilisme. See Annihilate.]
1. Nothingness; nihility.

God is one, but he has innumerable forms. He is the creator of all and He himself takes the human form
~Guru Nanak

There was a great earthquake. The sun turned black like sackcloth made of goat hair, the whole moon turned blood red, and the stars in the sky fell to earth, as late figs drop from a fig tree when shaken by a strong wind.
When he opened the Abyss, smoke rose from it like the smoke from a gigantic furnace. The sun and sky were darkened by the smoke from the Abyss. And out of the smoke locusts came down upon the earth and were given power like that of scorpions of the earth.
