Episode One
"Outlaw World"
Gene Starwind and Jim Hawking run their bounty-hunting/odd job business on a planet called Sentinal III. Their favorite hangout is a bar owned by Clyde. Gene seems to have a thing for the barmaid named Iris. Later on, Jim and Gene are hired by a pretty blonde woman who calls herself Rachel, to be her bodyguard. But they will eventually find out that the face and mask is part of a  mask, and it is really "Hot Ice" Hilda, the outlaw! She forces Gene and Jim to take her to find "something" for her. Meanwhile, the trio is being chased by Kei pirates. They get to Hilda’s destination, and Hilda shoots Gene, but he lives. They find a briefcase, and open it. Inside they find a naked, cryogenically frozen young woman.

Episode Two
"Star of Desire"
Gene doesn’t really want to take the briefcase, but Hilda decides that if the Kei pirates want it, it must be valuable. They take it to an old house, while still being chased by the Kei pirates. There is a violent standoff, between Gene and an old voodoo man. Gene keeps the pirates distracted while Hilda and Jim escape to find one of Hilda’s old ships, and the girl in the briefcase wakes up. Melfina and Gene follow Hilda and Jim, and all four fly away to Blue Heaven. They get into a few scuffles with some more bad guys, but they had to beat them without using bullets. So Hilda uses a really weird weapon, and Gene uses paint balls.

Episode Three
"Into Burning Space"
Gene and Hilda beat everyone, and the three outlaws and the android, Melfina leave Blue Heaven in Hilda’s ship. Gene has a problem though. He has a severe space phobia resulting from his childhood. He spends most of his time on the ship turning green and occasionally puking, while Hilda pilots and Jim fires missiles at enemies. A ship from the Ctarl-Ctarl Empire, a powerful race of cat people, tells Hilda to make way for them. Hilda refuses to change her course, so the Ctarl-Ctarl angrily change their course to avoid collision.

Episode Four
"When "Hot Ice" Melts"
Both pirates and outlaws are chasing Hilda and the crew. Hilda lands the ship inside an asteroid, where they find one of the best, and most advanced ships in the galaxy. Hilda decides to steal it. The ship itself can talk, and it knows that these people are not its crew, but since its memory banks aren’t working at 100% yet, it inputs the gang as crew members. The enemy ship begin to attack, so as a decoy Hilda gets in her own ship, hoping to distract them. So Gene, Jim and Melfina are left to pilot the new ship. Jim gets the engines working and Melfina serves as a navigator by getting into a clear cylinder of "goo". At last, Gene pilots the ship out of the asteroid. Meanwhile, Hilda’s ship sustains too much damage and falls toward the star. Gene catches it, but the star’s gravitational pull is too strong. The XGP15A2 advises them to let her go. Hilda bids farewell to her ship, and attempts to climb a rope from her ship to the XGP15A2, but the rope breaks. Gene wants to go after her, but his ship strongly objects. The gravity from the star would pull them all in. So Hilda falls into the star, but she does manage to grab the leader of the Kei pirates and take her down with her. Gene stares in silence for a while, then renames the ship the Outlaw Star.
Episode Five
"Beast-Girl, Ready to Pounce"
Gene, Jim, and Melfina take the Outlaw Star back to Blue Heaven to get it painted, and to get a registration number so they can land in legitimate ports. A strange robot thing and another human say they will do it for free. They say they owe Hilda. Gene tells them to paint it red. They tell the crew to come back later. In a private room, Gene is shaving in the bathroom, while Jim and Melfina sit on the bed. Melfina is sad because Hilda saved her from the pirates, and now Hilda is dead. The gang goes out to explore the rest of Blue Heaven. Gene mentions something about not having his space phobia when he is in the Outlaw Star. He just doesn’t feel cooped up. Melfina states it is because of the Physical Navigation System. A somewhat familiar figure in an old cloak approaches the trio and ask them where Hilda is. She announces herself as Aisha ClanClan, one of the Ctarl-Ctarl. Gene apologizes for their previous run-in, tells her Hilda is dead and walks away. Aisha tries to start a fight with Gene. But Gene doesn’t want to hit a girl, so they all run away. Aisha catches up with them and kicks Gene in the face. Gene punches her. There is some fighting between the two, when Jim remembers that Ctarl-Ctarl are metamorphs. They can turn into various animals. Aisha makes a big scene and says something about powering up with the power of the moon. Gene comments that Blue Heaven doesn’t have a moon. Then they run again. Gene tells Jim to find some ammo. Gene and Melfina run one way, as Kim goes another on a quest to find shells. Gene and Melfina finally lose Aisha. Gene has another "phobia attack". Melfina takes him over to a bench and they begin to talk. Melfina is extremely depressed because she doesn’t remember anything about her past. Gene promises Melfina he will help her find her identity and uncover her past. He invites Melfina to come with them. She accepts the invite. Gene calls Jim on his walkie-talkie. Jim is having a hard time finding shells. Suddenly Aisha appears in front of Gene and Melfina! Gene attempts to slash her with a big knife, but the knife breaks! Aisha tries to unleash her full beast powers but fails, because she burned off too many calories. Gene feels sorry for Aisha so he and the others take her out to eat. They are stunned at how much she can eat. When she is Finally finished, Gene says they are even now. But Aisha is still angry. She says they are under arrest. Jim gives Gene a #12 shell. Gene shoots Aisha and she gets fried. Gene tells the waiter to put the meal on Aisha’s tab. The gang heads back to get the Outlaw Star. The ship is now painted red, and has a registration number. Gene says he has to go back to Sentinal III to deal with Fred Luo. Meanwhile, Aisha is cleaning dishes, but vows to get revenge.

Episode Six
"The Beautiful Assassin"
The ship’s computer’s name is Gilliam. The ship is able communicate with the crew through Gilliam. Gene is crash landing the Outlaw Star. He hasn’t piloted a ship in six years, and his dad never taught him how to do a "planet fall". Melfina offers to land, but Gene gets the ship vertical . Melfina tells Gene how to land and Gene stops the ship right on the edge of a circular landing pad. Gilliam says something to the effect of "I worry about my future prospects, with this captain’s piloting techniques." They get taken to the nearest dock, and Gene waits to go see Fred Luo, but also wonders where Ehefrau is. They take a strange blue car to Fred’s place. Fred embraces Gene enthusiastically, and greets the other two. The Outlaw Star has no weapons or equipment and Gene wants some. They can’t get these things for a grappler ship through legitimate routes, but Fred can get the weapons. Fred doubts Gene’s ability to pay though. Gene leaves. Suddenly a woman wearing a cape and hood comes in. She uses a wooden sword to kill both of Fred’s guards with ease. Then she removes her hood. It's Twilight Suzuka! She says she wants Fred’s life, and that she will give him 5 minutes to write his good-byes. Gene comes in. Suzuka aims a blast, but it hits the door instead of Gene. Gene shoots at her, but she deflects it with her light shield. Fred begs Gene to save him. Suzuka and Gene continue to fight. Gene drops his cloak and gun and picks up one of Fred’s many swords. He throws the sword at Suzuka, then the stopwatch Suzuka had set at five minutes went off. Suzuka says she will be back tomorrow. She wants to kill Fred at sunset. Fred convinces Gene to be his bodyguard. Gene tells Fred a price and Fred agrees. Gene and the gang leave. Gene wants to find a hotel. But while they are in the streets, Suzuka confronts them. Gene instantly tells Melfina to run away. Jim wants to run away too, but Gene says he needs back-up. Jim runs anyway. Gene and Suzuka fight some more, until Jim comes with the car and Gene hops in. Suzuka follows. We cut to a tall rock tower. Suzuka tells Gene his worldly desires have cost him his life. She tries to strike Gene with her sword, but he uses his light shield to block it and he catches her sword in his hands. He kicks the sword and manages to yank her sash off of her kimono. He gives Suzuka a chance to give up but she says she will continue to pursue Fred until she dies, cause she signed a contract. Gene offers to give her the sash and her sword back, in exchange for Fred’s life. Gene says if she wants to kill Fred, then she will have to kill him first. After all that Gene did for Fred, he is still making him pay for part of his ammunition and equipment. Gene says he’ll pay when he makes it big. And so, Gene gains another stalker.
Episode Seven
"Creeping Evil"
Gene is in the driver’s seat of the Outlaw Star, trying to lift off. Gilliam tells him that the power is rising, to Gene’s relief. Gilliam then notes that they are about to explode. Countdown to destruction...10....9....8.... Gene failed the simulation test. Yes, simulation. Gilliam is not pleased that Gene can’t even handle small problems on the ship without assistance. Gene walks through the market, then returns to Starwind and Hawking Enterprises. Melfina is home, but Jim is not. He is at the police station retrieving the Ehefrau. It had been impounded. Jim comes back and is still ecstatic because he has his car back. They return to the Clyde’s bar. Clyde and Iris are shocked that Gene is still alive. Gene introduces Melfina to Iris. Iris is jealous. The next day, an intruder comes to the ship. Gilliam tries to stop him, then calls Gene using his little earring communicator. Gene runs after the intruder but does not see him. The intruder jumps at Gene from above. Gene dodges. Melfina, who has been cooking, sees another pirate and runs. It sees Melfina trying to escape and throws a mace like thing at her. Melfina thinks all hope is lost, but someone stops the mace. It’s...... Suzuka! Suzuka says since they are Kei pirates, she will help to fight them, besides, she wants to put Gene in her debt. She and the pirate face off. Meanwhile, Gene and the other pirate are still fighting outside. The pirate asks Gene where Hilda is. Gene won’t tell him what happened to her. Gene loses his gun, and the pirate shoots at him. Gene crawls away, with a trail of blood behind him. Back inside, Suzuka kills the pirate she was battling with and asks Melfina if she can wait for Gene in the shop. Melfina says ok. The pirate that was fighting Gene, however, is very much alive. And it thinks Gene is dead. Gene comes out and shoots the pirate, but he still is not dead. The pirate gets Gene on the ground and tells Gene to tell him his secrets. Gene nonchalantly replies, "My favorite color is red. My lucky number is one". The pirate is not amused. He wants to know where Hilda is. (doesn’t everyone?) But Gene manages to escape and the pirate retreats. Jim comes back, and finds Melfina and Suzuka calmly sipping tea. Jim is thoroughly perplexed. Jim leaves and drives to where the Outlaw Star is docked. Gene is working on the ship. Gene tells Gilliam to allow Suzuka on the ship even though she isn’t a crew member. Gene, Jim, and Suzuka are talking, when Gene falls to the ground. Jim reaches out for Gene and touches his back. Jim hand gets covered in blood. "I patched it up" Gene says painfully. "but I guess I didn’t do it right."
Episode Eight
"Forced Departure"
Gene is lying on the bed, shirtless, and obviously in a lot of pain. Suzuka says he has been poisoned. She says the enemy probably did, so they would have to negotiate with them. The enemy  comes and wants to talk. Jim tells Gilliam to allow the signal to go through. He tells Jim he has poisoned Gene and if his blood isn’t cleansed, Gene will die. Then he offers to make a deal. He told Jim if they would abandon the Outlaw Star, he will give them the antidote. Gene is momentarily coherent enough to tell Jim not to agree to the bargain. Gene knows they will not let them off that easily. Jim ends negotiations. Suzuka agrees that they cannot negotiate, but she thinks they should steal the antidote. Melfina thinks she can cleanse Gene’s blood without the antidote. She takes Gene out of the ship. Jim jumps in the pilot’s seat, even though the ship can’t run very well without Melfina. Meanwhile, Gene is thinking to himself that he is all alone, but Melfina appears, and tells him that he isn’t alone. She says she will heal him and she reaches for his hand. Gene extends his as well. When the two hands come in contact with each other, they begin to glow. Melfina moves behind Gene and embraces him. She says she can help him. Back inside the ship, Jim is freaking out because the pirate’s mechanical soldiers are approaching. Beams won’t go through the mecha, and they are too close to use missiles. Fred Luo calls. The Kei pirates are going to Sentinal III. Jim screams in exasperation, wondering what to do, but Gene and Melfina return just in time. Although his wounds aren’t healed. Melfina successfully removed the poison. The mecha are trying to get in the ship. Gene isn’t happy about what is going on, and jumps into the pilot’s seat. Melfina gets in her little chamber. Gene uses the ships grappler arms to pick up a mecha and throw it. Suzuka is on top of a crane. She jumps at a mecha and slices it twice with her sword, destroying it. But the person inside it controlling it survives. Eventually she kills him. Gene praises Suzuka and says they are going to lift off, but the grounds crew objects. Gene decides to take off without permission. Once they launch and they are in space, Gilliam notes that pirate grappler ships are closing in on them. The pirates shoot missiles, but Jim shoots antimissiles. Gene fires at one of the ships and it goes down. But now he has to switch magazines. He doesn’t have time, so he begins to fight the pirates by hand. He takes out one, but one is left and the Outlaw Star is having difficulties. At last, after several shots are fired, Gene takes out the remaining ship. Gene wants to go to Heifong. Jim says there are big cities there, so they can get a job. It is 20 light years away, but they set a course there anyway.
Episode Nine
"A Journey of Adventure, huh?"
Jim, Melfina, and Suzuka are sleeping, while Gene practices his fighting techniques. Gilliam tells Gene to go to bed. Gene agrees. The next morning while everyone is eating, Jim starts getting onto Gene because he leaves everything to chance. Melfina asks them to stop fighting. Gene does his laundry and says he wishes pirates would attack because he is bored. They arrive at a station. The gang unloads. Suzuka heads her own way and says she will be back later. At a nice restaurant, Gene eats like there is no tomorrow. Jim makes a comment to Gene about his eating habits, but Gene just threatens to eat Jim’s food too if he doesn’t hurry up. Needless to says, Jim begins to eat. Melfina offers her food to Jim. Gene makes a comment about Jim being lucky he is a kid. Gene says all that ladies are nice to kids. Jim tries to control his anger. Later, out in the streets of Heifong, Gene explains to Jim that there is a wanted man, Zomba, worth 10,000 wong if they can bring him in. They decide to go after him, after creating a scene in front of a lot of people. Gene busts up in a saloon and asks to see Zomba. He barges into a room upstairs and finds Zomba reading. Zomba says to take the fight outside. He doesn’t want to get his room dirty. They go to a church and stand off. Jim is hiding behind some rubble. Zomba charges Gene with a knife, but Gene has one too. Zomba’s back is his weak point. Gene nails him in the back, and Zomba sparks. Gene says he is disappointed. But he spoke too soon. Zomba isn’t out of the running yet. He grows spikes! Gene shoots him, and finally kills him. They get 2,000 wong. It was an android, not Zomba. Later they find out that Suzuka found the real Zomba, took him down, and got the 10,000 wong. As Jim and Gene walk down the street, Gene sees a familiar ship on a video screen. They go back to the Outlaw Star to launch. Gene wants to go after the ship he saw on the screen. It belonged to McDougall...
Episode Ten
"Gathering for the Space Race"
The Outlaw Star and company pull into Heifong. Gene decides that the Outlaw Star is going to enter the space race they are having on Heifong. In the space race, corporate ships and private pilots fly dangerous races, competing for fame. not money. Gene wants to see information about one other ship in the race, but the receptionist says that wouldn’t be fair. After a weak attempt to get her phone number, they discuss charges. It cost 150,000 wong to enter the race. Gene is outraged. The woman suggest they find a sponsor. Gene asks Suzuka if he can borrow money from her, but she tells him she is not a borrower or a lender. They decide to go see Fred. He says he would be glad to sponsor Gene. If they finish in the top 3, he will pay for it. Gene says he needs 400,000 wong. Fred agrees, but gives Gene an extremely girly pink and yellow outfit to wear in the winners circle. Everyone leaves the planet. Gene goes to the pre-race party and stumbles across Aisha ClanClan. She is working as a waitress on Heifong. She starts to get ready to attack Gene, but her boss comes out and says if she cause trouble, she won’t get paid, so she doesn’t start any trouble just yet. If the Outlaw Star wins the race, they will receive 200,000 wong. Aisha has entered her Ctarl-Ctarl ship into the race. Harry Williams, with his ship the El Dorado, has finally arrived. Gene thinks he recognizes the ship. Gene tries to talk to Harry, but Harry won’t respond. Meanwhile, Suzuka is in a casino. She finds out about the Outlaw Star entering the race and bets 20,000 wong on it. They finally take off. They are delayed because they have to space out the ships. Not everyone can take off at once. It takes 14 hours to get to the first checkpoint. The checkpoint is between two revolving planets. All of the other ships are going over the planets, to avoid getting hit by the planets. But Gene says if they time it just right, they can go between them. Gene decides to try the dangerous route. They approach the checkpoint, but a wave from one of the planets closes in on them. The checkpoint will be swallowed by the wave, and there is no escape in sight for the Outlaw Star.
Episode Eleven
"Adrift in Space"
Gene decides the only thing they can do, is charge right through the planets. They barely squeeze through. They have 500,000,000 kilometers until they get to Heifong V. They are officially in sixth place. They pull into a station and Gene thinks he notices McDougall’s ship. Gene goes inside a restaurant, and approaches the crew of the El Dorado. He asks to see McDougall, but they say don’t know who Gene is referring to. Gene picks up Harry Williams by his collar and asks him why the pirates want the XGP. Harry calls for help from the race officials and Gene leaves. But only after shoving Harry to the ground. Meanwhile, Aisha’s ship is pulling into the third checkpoint. She orders her crew to do a sneak attack on the Outlaw Star! But once again, her plan is ruin. She on a trading ship. They have one machine gun as ammo. Her crew informs her that an attack is out of the question. But Aisha still has a plan. The Outlaw Star crew, re-boards the ship and heads for the next two checkpoints. Another ship has a mayday. The pilot has abandoned ship. Gene says they should help him. Gene knows from experience that it isn’t fun to be out in space all alone like that. Gene suits up and goes out to retrieve the stranded pilot. He brings him in and, it’s Aisha Clan-Clan! Aisha asks if the McDougall brothers have any information about the Galactic Leyline. Gene says they know more than he knows. He tells Aisha to leave, but of course she refuses. She begins to look around the ship. The ship begins to switch to sub-ether mode, but there are missiles closing in on them. They can’t do anything until the ship has fully switched to sub-ether. The transition will be complete in 18 seconds, but the missiles will impact in 16! Gene says he will shake the missiles. They hit sub-ether just as the missiles impact. The El Dorado appears on the scene. Its crew is impressed, but Harry comments that it will probably disintegrate. The Outlaw Star is having major difficulties. Gene has to cut the engine systems. They crash, but not violently. Everyone is OK. Gene re-cranks the engine and they head back to the race. The ship still isn’t out of the woods yet. Several drives are not working, and ether drive is too slow. Placing in the top three looks hopeless. Aisha complains about their lack of enthusiasm, and their willingness to just give in to defeat. She says something about swimming in an ether stream and a light bulb lights up in Gene’s head. Most ships would be totally destroyed by an ether stream. But he remembers reading in the manual that the Outlaw Star can make it out of one. Jim is skeptical, but everyone else trusts Gene. There is an ether stream on Heifong I, that the Outlaw Star is going to "ride". They get through the stream and finish third, but another ship comes in behind them with a faster time, so they got fourth. Suzuka tears up her ticket. But the Outlaw Star got first in the privateer category. Fred says he will give Gene half of the money. 200,000 wong. The El Dorado dropped out of the race. But they left a communication cube for Gene.
Episode Twelve
"Mortal Combat With the El Dorado"
Gene checks out the message the El Dorado left them. It said to meet them at Leone Language Point in 50 hours. They would fight, and if the Outlaw Star won, The El Dorado crew would tell them everything they want to know. Aisha demands to tag along with Gene and the crew. She is searching for the Galactic Leyline. Gene says they can’t take her, but she foes with them anyway. The Outlaw Star is looking for the El Dorado, but since they are in a magnetic field, radar is of no use. They’ll have to use their eyes. Gilliam reports that missiles are coming in. Jim spots the El Dorado. Harry suggests that they have a one-on-one duel. Gene doesn’t object, but complains that they are on McDougall’s territory. Harry promises that he is not from Heifong. The El Dorado fires missiles, and the Outlaw Star dodges. Suddenly the El Dorado, which was right in front of them, disappears, and reappears behind them. That’s almost impossible! Gene asks Gilliam if the El Dorado is more maneuverable than the Outlaw Star. Gilliam assures Gene that it is not. By now, Gene has figured out that the pilots of the El Dorado are indeed McDougalls. Suddenly missiles come at the Outlaw Star from both sides. Gene shoots down the missiles before they impact the ship. The Outlaw Star crew figures that the El Dorado will be running out of missiles very soon, but Harry still has 24% of his ammunition left. He tells another crew member to make sure the Outlaw Star doesn’t figure out that there are two El Dorados! Gene and Harry go hand-to-hand with their grappler arms, but Harry has an advantage. His ship has four arms! It hold the Outlaw Star with two, and punches it with the other two. The Outlaw Star finally breaks free and catches the El Dorado. Gene tells Jim to run the ship for a while. Gene leaves through a tunnel. On the other end of the tunnel is the El Dorado. Gene shoots a guard in the leg, and finds Harry. Back on the Outlaw Star, Gilliam reports that he is being hacked into, and goes into protective mode. Gene shoots Harry’s arm. Gene holds a gun up to Harry’s head and asks him why they destroyed his father’s ship six years ago. Harry protest that six years ago, he was only 12! Gene asks where Harry’s brother is. Jim contacts Gene through his little earring and tells him there are two El Dorados. Gene heads back to the Outlaw Star. Harry seems to have a thing for Melfina. His older brother Ron, fixes Harry’s arm, and assures him they will get revenge.
Episode Thirteen
"Advance Guard From Another World"
Jim placed an ad in the paper for their business, but the responses haven’t been very promising. Gene answers the phone, hoping for a job, but the caller wants him to haul some cargo that is too big for the Outlaw Star. They really need some money. Gilliam informs them that parking is expensive. The doorbell rings. Gene thinks it is a customer, but it is Aisha. She came to tell him about a job. There is an creature loose in the sewers worth 500 wong if you can kill it. Gene and Jim throw Aisha out. Aisha decides to do it herself. Fred sends a message to Gene. He has a business associate that had some cargo disappear. The job pays 700 wong up front and 2000 if successful. Gene won’t take it, but Jim says he will do it himself. Melfina offers to go along. Gene gets a call. The caller asks Gene if he can help him figure out why the ice cream stand next to him is selling more ice cream than him. Gene hangs up. He gets the phone book and calls a woman for dinner. The stolen cargo that Jim is investigating was taken from an alien. The items stolen were a rare insect and a plant that looks like a cactus. Aisha is in the sewer, looking for the animal. Suddenly a shot comes at her. Cut to another scene. Jim comes back home. Gene is gone, and Suzuka is there. Wow, we haven’t seen her in a while. Jim goes to check the pet shops for this mysterious animal. Melfina will check the space ports to see if anything strange happened on the day the cargo went missing. Suzuka leaves as well. Gene is in an indoor street mall with a girl named Claire. Gene tells her to pick a place to eat. They both decide that they want ice cream. Gene sees the guy who called him on the phone. Claire and Gene try the ice cream, but agree there is nothing special about it. They don’t know why that place is getting all of the business and the other guy is not. Oh well. Gene notices a cactus looking plant in the ice cream stand. Aisha is still in the sewer, and gets caught in a web thing. Gene gets a call from Jim on his earring. He tells Gene they have to stop Aisha or they won’t get their 2000 wong. Jim mentions a cactus looking plant. Gene looks at the one in the ice cream stand window. It emits an awful sound that hurts everyone’s ears. A bug springs out of the sewer with Aisha on its back. Gene tells Claire to stand back. He draws and shoots his gun. Jim and Aisha argue whether to kill the bug or not. Jim walks over to the plant and picks it up. Jim becomes somewhat possessed by the plant. He says in a "non-Jim" voice. "You may call me Great One" Jim momentarily comes back to coherency and cries out for Gene to help him. The cactus sends out high frequency waves that paralyze everyone. Except Melfina. She walks up and slaps the cactus out of Jim’s hands and stomps on it quite a few times. Aisha goes back and kills the bug. Back at Starwind and Hawking, Suzuka comes and offers a job at a Wild West theme park show. Jim and Gene throw her out. Jim answers the phone. He agrees to a job as a tugboat. Something big will come up soon...
Episode Fourteen
"Final Countdown"
Gene is bored with his tugboat job. Suddenly the Outlaw Star has a virus. A little cartoon mouse appears on the computer screen and says that there is a bomb on the ship that they are tugging. They have a 5 hour time limit to meet the demands. The People’s Liberation Front wants independence from Heifong. They inform Gene if he tries to dismantle the bomb, it will explode. Uh-oh. The grappler arms and oxygen systems work on the Outlaw Star, but nothing else does. Suzuka wants to help so she goes to the man behind the bomb to find out how to disarm it. Gene is going to try to disarm the bomb with the grappler arms. Suzuka and Aisha ask about the ship. Gene blasts through a couple of doors. He and Jim and Melfina find the bomb. There are 2 wires that he could cut. If he cuts the wrong one, the ship will blow. Jim begins to laugh hysterically because when he gets scared, stupid things seem funny to him. Melfina tries her best to comfort him. Gene is about to cut one of the wires, but is interrupted by a signal from Aisha. Suzuka and Aisha got some information from Fred Luo. The ad ship was a dummy. The bomb scare is a scam to empty the space station, so some robbers can take the jewels that are inside. Gene figures the bomb is a dummy that will blow up no matter what wire they cut. Gene figures the real detonator already blew up. The robbers try to get out of the station with their loot, but Suzuka and Aisha are in the doorway. They kill everyone except for one guy. He offers to give them half of the loot in exchange for his life. But Gene jumps out of the ship and takes care of him.
Episode Fifteen
"The Seven Emerge"
Hazanko-sama and the Anten Seven are gathered to assassinate someone. Shimi is after the man whole stole the XGP--that would be our buddy Gene Starwind. Jim complains that they are still in danger. Someone calls for Gene to come out. He does and Shimi challenges him to a duel at a specific place, at noon, the next day. Shimi says if Gene does not show up, Shimi will kill all of his friends. Gene challenges him right there, but Shimi draws faster than him. So the duel is set for the next day. Jim tells Gene he should prepare, but Gene explains that you can not prepare for a duel. Gene goes out for a drink, but he is afraid he might not live through the duel. Gene goes back to the Outlaw Star. He checks Gilliam and sees that the Outlaw Star wasn’t tampered with. Maybe the dueler will actually fight fair for a change! Gene is upset because he knows someone is going to die in the duel. He tries to get some sleep. Gene has a dream about getting shot in the duel. He gets up and eats breakfast. He informs the group that it may be the last meal he ever eats. Jim tells him to stop talking like that. Aisha assures him if anything happened to him, she would take care of things. Gene goes to fight Shimi. They shoot and both go down. Gene gets back up though. He holds his gun up to Shimi, but before he can shoot, Shimi blows himself up. Gene has a cracked rib. Another guy approaches Gene. His name is Leilong. Gene tries to hit him with several things but he has a really good wrist shield. Gene throws Leilong on the ground and holds a gun to his face, but Leilong pushes it away and punches and kicks Gene. He is about to kill Gene, when Jim comes out of the bushes and points a gun at Leilong. Then Melfina shows up and begs Leilong to kill her first. He says he can’t kill her, but he will kill the other two. Then the rest of the gang arrives. They all try to fight Leilong now. Aisha is taken down by explosives. Jim shoots at Leilong, but Leilong cuts him with a knife. Suzuka is taken down as well. Melfina runs to Gene and puts her arms around him. Leilong agrees to a one shot fight with Gene. Gene is breathing heavily and he is hurt. He lifts his gun unsteadily. The shoot and Gene goes down. He opens his eyes, and finds Leilong on the ground. Gene thinks all the people that tried to help him are dead, but they all wake up. Suzuka blames her defeat on Aisha’s Ctarl-Ctarl stew that she ate earlier. Leilong is touched by the compassion everyone showed Gene, and decides he might become an outlaw too.
Episode Sixteen

They manage to get it, but the man ends up sacrificing his life and some of the treasure to kill a demon that is protecting the water planet, and holding down the ship. The crew gets back and can only sell some of the treasure for money. The dragonite was not very dense. Aisha wants to know how much of the 15,000,000 wong she gets, Jim tells her nothing. She almost faints. With the cost of repairs to the outlaw star, it leaves them with zero. So the gang is out of luck yet again.
Episode Seventeen
"Between Life and Machine"
Jim and Gene are working their repair shop. Still trying to make money. They can fix anything from tractors to relationships according to Jim. Gene knows it is a trick, but he goes anyway. Melfina wants to go too, but Gene will not let her. Gene arrives at the restaurant and finds the person that called him. They get in a disagreement. Gene discovers that it is McDougall and pulls a gun on him. Ron laughs because he has two henchmen sitting at a near by table that draw weapons and aim at Gene. Little does Ron know, Aisha and Suzuka are also waiting. They come out of hiding and prepare to battle. They take the fight outside. Meanwhile, back on the Outlaw Star, Harry McDougall has a vase of flowers and is trying to get Melfina to open the door and let him in. Melfina knows that Harry is evil and refuses to let him in. Melfina still will not open the door. The whole time Harry is saying he cares about her, but he is yelling and screaming in anger. When Harry reaches his limit, he punches through the door and unlocks it himself. He hits Melfina and knocks her out, then starts to carry her away. She wakes up as he is taking her away and begins to fight him. She runs into a room and tells Gilliam to lock the door behind her. Gilliam obeys. Harry uses his finger to attempt to hack into Gilliam’s system. Gilliam asks Melfina to get in her chamber in order to help Gilliam keep Harry out. Meanwhile, Ron McDougall tells Gene that he wants the XGP and Melfina. Gene refuses to give up either one of them. She walks over to it, and touches it. It lights up and the image of a dragon appears. Then everything goes back to normal. No one has a clue as to what just happened. Melfina doesn’t feel the force anymore. Melfina leaves, she wants to be alone. Jim yells at Gene for acting so callous toward Melfina lately. Gene insist that he has not treated her any differently than usual. Jim says he has. Jim leaves. He wants to be alone too. Suzuka tells Gene that she agrees with Jim. Gene says it is because he doesn’t know if he can keep his promise to Melfina. He promised her he would find out about her past. Ron McDougall told Gene that Melfina was created specifically as a navigational system to find the Galactic Leyline. Gene knows this is not what Melfina wants to hear, so he hasn’t told her. Melfina is alone on a cliff singing. Harry McDougall shows up. He tells her to come with him, and she will never be lonely again. Melfina tells him that he is the one that is lonely. Episode Twenty-Two
"Gravity Jailbreak"
Gene is getting ready to talk with the prisoner that knows the coordinates of the Galactic Leyline. He gets admitted as a prisoner. Professor Gwen Khan gave Gene a compass before he went in. Once he arrives, he has great difficulty adjusting to the gravity change. There is not a stable gravity anywhere on the entire planet that he is on. The entire planet is barren desert. No one has ever escaped successfully, and no one has ever served their full sentence and been allowed to leave. The prisoners die of heart failure, before their entire term is served. Gene and a man named Siya Wong are in a cell together. As luck would have it, that is just who Gene needs to talk to. Gene asks him the coordinates of the Leyline. Wong doesn't understand. There is no point in him telling Gene the coordinates. Gene will never escape anyway. Gene assures him that he will make it out and tells Wong he can come with him if he wants to. Wong doesn't give an answer. Suddenly, the warden displays an image for all the prisoners to see. It is of a prisoner that tried to escape. He is in the desert getting beaten by human-controlled robots. Gene can't bear to watch. But nonetheless, Gene and Wong create an escape plan. Gene had to check his compass when he entered, but it is vital to his escape plan. So, Gene and Wong stage a fight. They take the fight into the room where all of the prisoners possessions are kept and use the filing cabinet drawers as weapons. Finally after extracting several drawers, Gene finds his compass. Gene and Wong are taken away and put on a car. They will be punished later. Somehow they manage to make the car that they are on gain a lot of speed. It burst through the punishment gate. They are officially out of the prison, but they are no where near out of the woods yet. They begin their journey through the desert. They arrive at the North Pole. The robots arrived, to carry them back to the prison. Gene pulls out his compass, except it isn't a "compass", it is a monopole disguised as a compass. Ordinarily, on a compass a north pole attracts a south pole. But on a monopole, since there is only one pole. It "makes it's own rules." Gene tears half of the pole off, and throws it into the ground. He takes to other half, and goes straight up in the air, directly above the other half of the pole. Wong jumps on. The OS crew is waiting nearby. They pick up the signal, and go to pick-up Gene. Wong and Gene are officially the first to ever escape Hanaken Prison. Khan wants Gene to ask Wong about the coordinates, but Gene refuses until Khan revives Melfina. Khan does so. Suzuka knocks him out. She apologizes but tells Gene it just needed to be done. Wong gave Gene a data file that contains to coordinates of the Galactic Leyline, and the password. The gang offers to take Wong along with them, but he says he prefers to not work with Gene Starwind anymore. He is too dangerous. So Wong takes Khan's ship. He says he never wants to see an Outlaw again.

Suzuka tells Gene to leave. This is her fight now. Gene wants to stay and help, but Suzuka insists that Melfina needs him. Suzuka tells Gene that the reason came along with him on this entire adventure is because she has something to settle with the Kei pirates. Specifically Hotorega. "Return to Space"
Gene has entered the inner portion of the Leyline, and is running down a hallway. Hazanko is ahead of Gene and is standing before a big black hole. Melfina is still chained on a wall type thing. A face emerges from the hole, and a voice that sounds like Melfina's begins to speak. It asks Hazanko, "What is thy desire?" Hazanko answers "power". Gene arrives and fires his next to last shot at Hazanko. It appears to have killed Hazanko, and Gene passes out. Professor Khan arrives as Gene passes out and tells the Leyline that he wants knowledge. Gene wakes up. He has one more shell. He asks Khan how to get Melfina back. Khan tells him not to worry about Melfina, he can have anything he wants. Hazanko reappears. He cannot be defeated with caster shells. He tells Gene that Melfina is just a puppet that the pirates created so that they could access the Leyline. Melfina hears this and is deeply hurt. Gene tells Hazanko to shut up. Melfina discovers that Gene knew this all along, and only used her to get to the Leyline. Gene tries to explain that that is not true. Gene fires his last shell at Hazanko. Gene finds himself in a sort of virtual reality. He and Melfina are both in it. Melfina explains that the will of the Leyline is keeping them alive. It will keep Gene there until he has recovered from shooting the shot he just fired. Melfina tells Gene that the Galactic Leyline is like a Machine God. She tells Gene to wish for anything and she can grant his wish. Gene wants Melfina back. Melfina tells Gene that she wants to be with him as well. Hazanko is preparing to leave the Leyline. Melfina says they must join forces to stop Hazanko from destroying the universe. Meanwhile, Suzuka, Aisha, and Jim are nervously waiting on the Outlaw Star. Suddenly, it begins to shake. Then, Gene and Melfina seem to magically teleport back into the ship. They prepare to launch. Melfina says that Gene should be stronger than usual because they are both still directly linked with the Leyline. They begin to fight a BIG blue ship thing. Once Gene learns to open his mind and his heart, and to work together with the rest of the crew, he is able to destroy Hazanko. A ghostly image of Melfina approaches the real Melfina. It is the "Maiden of the Leyline". She says that Melfina doesn't need her anymore, so she wants to say good-bye to her. The crew goes back to Blue Heaven. Gene is in a jail cell. He doesn't look near as good now. Jim borrows 200,000 wong as bail from Fred Luo. They owe him 1.6 Million wong now. Suzuka has already been to most of the places Gene wants to go, so she is getting off the Outlaw Star here. Aisha decides to settle down a bit, so she isn't going along with them either. Gene, Jim, and Melfina decide to take off. Melfina and Gene leave the pit area for a while and when they return, Suzuka and Aisha are on the ship! Suzuka says although she has been to most of the places that Gene is going, they will probably be a lot more interesting with this crew. Aisha says they are in debt to her for all the times that she saved them, so until they pay her back, she is going with them. Jim is thrilled. So the Outlaw Star crew is back and ready for anything that comes their way.
