"The Storyteller" is a clay sculpture created by Hopi Indian. This was my first non-resin statue to work with. The sculpture was apparently damaged by housekeepers. Most of the children had been broken off of the storyteller, and two of the children's "ears" were completely broken off and missing. I re-sculpted ears for the children that were lacking and re-attached all of the children back to their original places, touching up paint where necessary.
