This three headed creature was first seen (in chronological order) being ordered by the Deviant called Kro to attack the Monster Hunters.

The creature was one of the first monsters the Fantastic Four encountered while battling the forces of the Mole Man in their first adventure.

A second, related creatured encountered a group of fake FF'ers, who were created by a rogue Watcher and sent to Monster Island. This creature, while similar to the original, only had two heads instead of three. The "evil" FF dispatched of it soon after.

The original creature was one of a number of creatures taken control of by a group of Skrulls hoping to flush out a traitor. They used the monsters to attack various Earth cities. It later returned to Monster Island after the fracas was over.

The creature was seen circling the Mole Man's castle as the Mole Man talked to Adam Warlock and the Infinity Watch. The creature was one of several monsters present on the Mole Man's Monster Island when the Justice League converged there seeking one of twelve lost items of power. Along with the other creatures, he was beaten by the dimension-hopping team. (JLA/Avengers #1)
