HISTORY

While imprisoned on Lost Island Prison, "Salty" Gruner, hears the legends of the Ape Man living in the nearby jungles, where no one fears to tread. He decides to pretend to "see" the Ape Man, heightening everyone's fears of the creature. When he makes an escape through the jungle (where no one will dare follow him now), he confronts the real creature. The Ape Man explains he is the result of a witch doctor's curse and was waiting for someone to enter the jungle to take his place. Salty falls unconscious, and reawakens to find himself now The Ape Man...
