Joe Hanson is watching tv one day when a strange monster emerges from it, grabbing him and going back into the tv. Now on the creature's own alien world, the monster looks to prove to his cohorts that his new device works, and they can invade earth. Just before the others come into the room to see the proof of a living human, Joe begins to fade away. Thinking the creature has lied to them, they kill him. Joe then wakes up to his wife griping that he never paid the electric bill and the power had just been turned off...

A creature resembling these, but much much larger, was among the monsters summoned by the Mole Man to greet Adam Warlock upon his arrival on Monster Island.
