HISTORY
While on vacation on the island of Napuka, pilot Frank Harper witnessed a bizarre creature emerge from an erupting volcano. Frank lead the creature to an airfield, where he blasted it with a giant windfan. Unable to cope with the blast of cold, the Molten Man-Thing retreated to the volcano. "Frank Harper" was later revealed to be the Eternal Makkari.
Much later, artist Frank Johnson (see ZZUTAK) used his magic paints to create a new Molten Man-Thing, which briefly combated the Fantastic Four before Johnson made the monster disappear.
