HISTORY
While convicted criminal John Hunter is being escorted to prison, he manages to escape when a strange spacecraft lands nearby. He stows away on board, and learns the pilot is a warrior named Rommbu. Trusting the human because of his viciousness towards his own race, Rommbu trusts him when he directs the alien to a small island to rest and be safe while waiting for the rest of the invasion to arrive. However, Hunter, a geologist, has tricked Rommbu, and they both perish when the isle John purposely picked, was a volcano about to erupt.
In an alternate reality, Rommbu was one of several aliens and monsters summoned by the villain Jack O' Lantern to attack the world. The creatures were defeated by a group of supernatural crusaders.
