After crash landing his plane on Easter Island, a young man is horrified to see the statues come to life and converse among each other, specifically about an invasion of earth. He manages to escape back to civilization, and when he relates his tale to the military, is shooed off as having hallucinated. The creatures follow him to his home, but return to their island when they realize that no one believed him.
