Cite that at Erik and he's likely to shake his fist at you and tell you to stop quoting annoying clichés at him. Still, the phrase aptly applies to the Green Lantern. The earliest-arrived of all the members of the League, honorary or not, he's greeted a few of it's members in through the Portals in the first place and played a small role in bringing together some of it's founders. While he certainly may not seem like it, the only thing that keeps him from full membership in the League is the sheer scope and breadth of his powers. It's why, in most cases, he is simply excluded from League field trips.

Holmes: Erik is a fine gentleman when he remembers to be. I think his frivolity is a fascinating defense mechanism and can only hope that it doesn't get him into more trouble than it solves for him.

Seishi: Nice guy who has been very helpful. Unfortunately for him, he's kind of hard to take seriously. He probably deserves a little more respect than he gets from anyone--myself included.

Constantine: The man is too nice for his own good most of the time, but other than that, he has more common sense than most of the rest of this lot can deal with. Which is exactly why they never listen to him. Just a hint, mate: green Princess Leia isn't going to make people respect you.

Lara: A charming young man, were I a few years older (I'm not saying how few, mind you), he might have been the sort I'd take home to my parents… and they'd actually approve.
