Sherlock Holmes is the greatest detective ever to walk the face of the earth. Unfortunately, when he plunged over Reichenbach Falls struggling with his archnemesis, the evil Professor Moriarty, he appeared in Beacon Harbor without much to his name. This forced him to take a humiliatingly dull job as an operative with a cheap detective agency until he could build up enough of a stake to set out on his own. Fortunately his tremendous intellect helped him to acclimate himself very quickly. One of the founding members of the League, he is often one who is looked to for leadership and (always brilliant) ideas. However, he is not the easiest person in the world to work with… well, all right. He's almost a complete jerk. But he's always one step ahead of the game… at the very least.

Holmes is: Always Right.

Holmes likes: A challenge.

AAA Detective Agency Employee Review: John Sigerson

Seishi: Loving this man is inarguably the most stressful thing I’ve ever done. He’s arrogant, moody, self-absorbed, and emotionally stunted. He’s also the most amazing and staggeringly brilliant person I’ve ever known. Heaven help me.

Kate: He's everything I ever imagined the greatest detective in literature would be, and he still leaves me surprised and amazed. But dear God, is he messy! I'm amazed that Seishi hasn't been overwhelmed by the stuff in that apartment yet.

Whisper: He's been nothing but pleasant to me, although in his own not-very-approachable way. Definitely an intimidating man. There's something just a little odd about having the door answered with your name when you've given no notice that you're coming. I have to corner him at some point and discuss science.

Constantine: I'd be the first to admit that I'm not fond of the rules, but isn't there one somewhere that says nobody can be this intelligent? He could probably look at the bottom of my shoes and tell me my life story.

Kitty: The first time I met Holmes counts as one of the more bizarre moments of my life, which is saying something.  Still, it's almost impossible not to respect him, and not just for the intellect. I can't imagine anyone else putting up with what we put him through.

Pete Wisdom: God help me. Sherlock fucking Holmes. The greatest deductive mind of the nineteenth, twentieth, and twenty-first centuries, and he's...<at this point, Pete cracks up, laughing helplessly>

Buffy: Contrary to popular belief I am not trying to seduce the man. He's got that whole intelligence thing going with the books and the pipe. If only he had the hat. Still, he'd one I'd turn to if I needed something found out. Just wouldn't really go in for the hugging or the jokes. He blushes well though.

Lara: The second most infuriating man I've ever met. He is however, as brilliant as legend would have him, which is both a blessing and a curse to those around him. Still, he's slightly less infuriating then others I would mention, on account of being a fellow Englishman.

Indiana: Read the books when I was a kid, met Sir Arthur; the real deal is still more impressive. He's Sherlock Holmes, for Christ's sake. Always a bit humbling to be around the guy.

Simon: A boyhood hero of mine, come to full living colour. I don't know where he stands, probably better admired from afar. He keeps brushing me off for lunch. Maybe he's doing this for my benefit. Too much self knowledge could be a dangerous thing.
