Dr. Henry (Indiana)
Jones, Jr. |
Dr. Jones is a
professor of archaeology, expert on the occult, and obtainer of rare
antiquities. His two-fisted brand of academic adventure earned him (if only
temporarily) such prizes as the Lost Ark of the Covenant, the Sankara
Stones, and the Holy Grail. He is something of a rogue, and is known to
flirt shamelessly with the female members of the League. He hates snakes.
Indiana is: Cocky
Indiana likes: Archaeology.
Indiana's Survey Results
Seishi: I can't help but like him. He can get a chip on his shoulder,
but generally he's a good guy--and tends to be a voice of reason, which we
could use more of. And a much better flirt than, say, Constantine.
Kate: You know, I bet thousands of women have felt their hearts
flutter for that roguish smile of his. It's criminal.
Whisper: Shameless flirt, without much style to the attempts. There's
something to be said for the "eat drink and be merry" type of men, but
attempting to do this with the girlfriend of someone who's present at the
scene gives me pause.
Constantine: Almost as arrogant as Lara. Fortunately, he's also as
capable as she is. I just wish he'd stay away from Buffy, at least right in
front of me.
Buffy: What can you say about him? That rogue smile, that hat? He's
more than on top of his game, he has it in the palm of his hand and he knows
it. A total flirt and a pretty good one at that. He's a hero, even if he
says it isn't. You can just tell. Normal men aren't ever that dusty.
Lara: To be diplomatic, I will say that Indiana Jones is an
intelligent, well-traveled, adventurous, charming man... when he wants to
be. To be less diplomatic, he's an oversexed, infuriating American.
Unfortunately, when push comes to shove, it's easy to fall under the spell
of that dashing smile. [pause] What? What did I say? If nothing else, I like
the way he wields his whip.
Simon: Take Lara, make her American and a man (actually don't,
please), keep the confidence, take away the style and add testosterone. He's
a man's man. Mixing him and Lara is like mixing... two explosive chemicals.
I'll ask Holmes for an example later. Dr. Jones! Don't argue with Lara!
She's a woman, just apologize and move on!
