Computer expert, physics student, thief, dancer, and unabashed thrill-seeker, Kitty Pryde has cultivated a remarkably high tolerance for strangeness over a decade spent in and out of the more thankless portions of the hero business. She's precisely the sort of person who could walk through an Infinity Portal and find Beacon Harbor a congenial improvement - which says something about both her home universe and the woman herself. The ensuing relief has diminished her habitual wariness to a level at which the liveliness and sheer decency underneath show through on a regular basis. Kitty's also fallen head over heels for a certain British ex-spy of appalling and filthy habits - for the second time. She blames it on her own nice-girl lack of judgment: just ask her. If, that is, you can track her down to ask.
Pete Wisdom: I honestly have no idea how
she puts up with me, but I can tell you why - my feet are warm in
bed. Hers are like plates of ice. But seriously, she's everything. So sane,
so reasonable, so giving, so bloody brilliant. For godsake, she impressed
Sherlock fucking Holmes. And she's all mine. |
