I stand in the dark,
Coat pulled tight around my body
As I wait for my contact
And the damnation it will bring me.
I am not a killer
But if I have to
I will kill.
Looking back now
I never thought I would say that
Never thought so much blood could
Be on my hands.
Now as I stand in the snow
I wonder why I did it
And the answer is the same.
To save someone I loved,
I gave my soul away.
