“Weakest Link” host attacked on stage: Ratings up 40%
Anne Robinson, the beloved host of NBC’s hit program “The Weakest Link” was attacked by an irate contestant who apparently was victim to some rather unflattering remarks about his weight, mother, mother’s weight, the size of his nose, the size of his ears, his weight, his father’s weight, his intelligence, and his job. And then his weight again. “The ‘momma jokes’ I could handle, but when she called me a “big ol poopy head”, I had had about enough.”
Robinson, who was reportedly about to make a stinging remark about his IQ, (and then his weight again), sustained only minor injuries, but as a result of the attack, she has apparently lost her ability to insult, and is suing the assailant, Boris Yeltsin, for $5 million dollars in emotional scars, as well as severe damage to here “dissing bone”.
