My name is Freddy, and this is my space on the web.

On this page and the others there in, you will (should you choose to actually read the text) get a glimpse of the person I am today. Perhaps even learn what motivates me to do some of the things I do. What moves me mentally,physically and spiritually.

So, Like I was saying my name is Freddy. A guy born and raised in the Motor City. Like a good chunk of the population here, I'm an Arab American.

I picked the moniker Phoenix76xxx a few years ago. The name really has a Lot of meanings.

The Phoenix itself, is a bird of myth born in the legends of Eqypt. Now supposedly this bird was a being of fire. This bird eventually was consumed in it's own flames and burnt itself down to the ground. Left for dead, the magnificent bird rose again, born a new from it's very own ashes to soar higher and brighter than in it's previous life.

Now Isn't that just fucking fantastic? How could you not love that story. I love it for it's symbolism and what it represents. The whole concept of crashing and burning, and still getting another go at it. I am a firm believer in second chances if the desire is genuine. But I have to be honest. That isn't the only reason I chose the name Phoenix. There is another...

Her name is Jean Grey and she is an X-man. Yup, you guessed it. I'm a comic-book junkie. Comics taught me how to read and this character was/is about the coolest you could ever come by. She's powerful, she's sexy and she's a telekinetic telepath.

So I think that covers the Phoenix aspect of me. The "76"? Well, that is a little more obvious. That's the year I was born. And lastly, the "XXX". You can draw your own conclusion there.

I'm a pretty simple man, with my own belief system. I prefer comedies to drama. I work to live, I don't live to work. Music and art play a large part of my life. I enjoy spending time with my friends and family.

 

That said, I think I've exhausted the space that a homepage should use.
