Daredevil also saw his first action figure release here in the Secret Wars! Daredevil, complete with his trusty billy club wasn’t ever even in the Secret Wars mini-series. I won’t begrudge Mattel too much for that, but Daredevil also had another problem.

He liked his drink…oh, wait-that’s Iron Man. Oh yeah, for some reason or another which no one has figured out just yet-this action figure has a tendency to bleed. No, it’s not a miracle to base a movie on. It’s just that the paint used seems to corrode the limbs and face quite a bit. I have yet to see a Daredevil that doesn’t have this problem.

For a second series release, he made it into two packages. 1^st, the regular carded version. 2^nd, the elusive Heroes Gift Set.

Oh, and since he’s blind-the figure doesn’t have the eyes painted. Thankfully he didn’t come in a yellow and black version that was only packed every 42^nd case…
