Wolverine (Silver Claws)!

The wild and woolly Wolverine! No kidding. That’s the caption on the back of the Wolverine card! I don’t think I’ve ever heard of that phrase before.

Still, it doesn’t matter the least as this figure is the 1^st incarnation of Wolverine in action figure form. One of the most popular characters in comicdom, and he comes here with his lame snap on claws.

Pictured here, is the “common” version from the secret wars line. You’ll notice that his claws are distinctly silver. This was the 1^st release that came out.

Secret Wars wasn’t known for being great in the scale department. Wolverine, listed as 5’3”, is the same size as the 6’2” Captain America! Thanks Mattel-you rock!
