| Tamao has lived on the Asakura estate and grew up training with Yoh. She can predict the future and has two spirits, Ponchi, the raccoon spirit, and Konchi, the fox spirit. She also has a huge crush on Yoh. | |

| Yoh's father. He watches over Yoh from a distance and sends spirits to warn him that the Shaman Fight is about to begin. He has also taken Ryu under his wing and trains him in the ways of the Shaman. | |
