Original Broadcast Date: Dec. 5, 1974
Attempted Synopsis: The "Most Awful Family in Britain" contest; a red-tape-obsessed doctor makes a bleeding patient take a quiz; an army officer in a tutu dictates a letter to a papal secretary; a plea for survivors of luxury; a housewife lets a stranger finish her sentences; a stationary tree masquerades as a walking one.
Review: Considering the mincemeat that Python once made of political contests, the content of their final series episode is surprisingly mild. Some great gags mixed with some real head-scratchers.
Priceless Gag: Once you've seen "The Most Awful Family in Britain," you will never view either beans or Terry Gilliam in the same way again.
