Review: Much like Another Monty Python Record, this one is most comprised of familiar TV sketches, but unlike the previous album, there's even more new material here to make it worth your listening. To cite just one example, "Eric the Half a Bee" ends radically differently from the TV version, with John Cleese, in a rare musical outing, singing an ode to his favorite pet. Other "new" highlights include "Eclipse of the Sun" (featuring that Python favorite: unctuous, verbose announcers who overshadow their subject), and Michael Palin's over-the-top hosting of "Wonderful World of Sounds." The closer, "A Fairy Tale," was written solely by Cleese and his then-wife and frequent Python actress Connie Booth; it almost presages Cleese's future role in the anti-fairy tale Shrek 2. Acres of great stuff here.
