Laenia - Mother Earth, Spark of Life When Terran created Laenia, he invested within her the Spark of Life. With this gift, Laenia becam the soul heir to the power to grant life. From her spark, Laenia sprung forth all the gods and the race known as humans. After this great feat, the mother goddess descended deep within the planet itself. It is there, near the center of the world, that Laenia resides. Her power fuels the world itself and allows it to continue to flourish. It was because she was there that the Essence machine was unable to reach her, leaving Laenia the only god with all of her Essence. This is most certainly a good thing, for if the powers of Laenia were to fail, certain disaster would befall the entire planet.
