Bedlam
- Bedlam is Bermuda Schwartz, a member of a group once called X-Force, a team that was supposed to serve as superhuman agents for the US government. However, after she and her teammates were diagnosed with radiation poisoning, the result of government scientists constantly exposing them to cosmic and gamma rays, Bermuda (at this point called Havok) and the surviving members of her X-Force unit attempted to escape the hospital where they had ended up in after their sickness surfaced. They encountered the vigilantes Cloak and Dagger, who helped Bermuda and her teammates fend off the M Branch, the scientific offshoot of the US government that helped give Bermuda and the rest of X-Force their powers. Eventually, Dagger used her powers to purge the radiation from the systems of Bermuda and her two surviving teammates, Colossus (who took on the name The Wall) and Storm (who took on the name Tempest; meanwhile, Bermuda changed her name from Havok to Bedlam). After saying good-bye to Cloak and Dagger, Bedlam and her friends fled and to this very day are attempting to avoid recapture at the hands of the M Branch.
- When last seen, Bedlam and her teammate, Tempest, tangled with Cannonball over rights to the name X-Force (in a tale by Fred Hembeck!). Phyllis Twombly, alias the cosmic being Origin, settled the dispute.
- As Bedlam, Bermuda could intensify mental states and cause hallucinations.
