Black Mamba
- Black Mamba is Tanya Sealy, a former call girl and exotic dancer. She was selected by the Roxxon Oil Company to become one of their special operatives. Tanya underwent an operation that surgically implanted a special component in her forebrain, which enabled her to tap into the Darkforce. She normally uses her power to surround, constrict, and suffocate her opponents as well as to create images of people’s loved ones, which she uses to mesmerize her opponents.
- As Black Mamba, her first mission was with the Serpent Squad, led by the Sidewinder. She later joined Sidewinder’s bigger organization, the Serpent Society, until she, the Asp, and Diamondback were expelled from the group for aiding the Society’s biggest enemy, Captain America. Tanya, the Asp, and Diamondback switched sides to become adventurers and went off on their own to form Bad Girls Incorporated, which stood for Black Mamba-Asp-Diamondback Incorporated believe it or not.
- For a short period, Black Mamba left adventuring behind and lived her life as a model in an awesome story by Joe Casey in Deathlok Vol.3#7. Inexplicably, Tanya has since returned to a life of crime as Black Mamba, serving time in the Crimson Cowl’s Masters of Evil as well as rejoining the Serpent Society. However, Black Mamba has since reformed Bad Girls Incorporated with Diamondback and Asp. During one of their first new missions, Black Mamba and the others encountered Deadpool and Shen Kuei (alias the Cat) during a mad scramble to obtain the Dominus Objective, an advanced computer program that allowed sharing of data.
