Jakita Wegener

• Jakita Wegener is an albino sorceress whose past is completely unknown, but she is at war with other sorcerers and the battles are played out over many years like games of chess. Jakita’s magical abilities included mind scans, force fields, teleportation, and projection of energy blasts that she called her Snowform Deathblow. She is also an experienced combat magician.
• In her only appearance to date, Jakita was confronted by The Armorer, a servant of Zahgurim, a demon who wanted to gain control over all the souls in Manhattan. Under Zahgurim’s command, The Armorer murdered sorcerers so that he could build his armor from their bodies. By doing this, he would consign the souls of every man, woman, and child to Zahgurim's dominion. During her battle with the Armorer, Jakita was nearly slain by him, despite her expertise in magical combat, but she was fortunately saved by Daimon Hellstrom. She hasn’t been seen since.
• The entire Hellstorm series, especially the Warren Ellis issues, was one big whack fest. One crazy idea after another. Good stuff. I recommend the Hellstorm series to anyone who enjoys reading awesome comics.
• SIDE NOTE: Warren Ellis liked Jakita so much that he recreated her as Jakita Wagner in THE AUTHORITY, a DC/Wildstorm book.
