Midnight's Queen
- Midnight’s Queen and her history were a mystery. She was a vampire as well as a witch and possessed the abilities of both. She was also the leader of a coven made up of the same kinds of beings.
- During her only appearance, Midnight’s Queen and her coven prepared to sacrifice an agent of the Seventh Sign, a covert organization that fought against the supernatural elements of the world. They did this at the moon’s zenith in an attempt to invoke Luna, Lady of the Moon. In order to stop them, Seventh Sign agent Maria DeLorentti, alias Witch Hunter, gave herself to the Queen’s sisters and let the vampires feed from her. However, because her blood was made up of metabodies that protected her from preternatural harm, the vampire women all perished, incinerated into smoldering, skeletal husks. Witch Hunter and Midnight’s Queen then engaged in mortal combat, during which the Witch Hunter killed Midnight’s Queen by impaling her with her Holy Sword. Afterwards, the Witch Hunter severed the Queen’s head from the rest of her body, permanently ending her life.
- NOTE: This character was actually nameless in the story, but I called her Midnight's Queen for the sake of this profile. Midnight's Queen was one of the names of the Moon Goddess she was attempting to invoke in the issue.
