Reptilla
- Reptilla is a member of the Salem’s Seven, a group of super-humans who had been magically mutated by Nicholas Scratch, the son of Agatha Harkness. She normally resides in New Salem, Colorado, where the inhabitants normally practice the occult. Reptilla can magically assume an inhuman form in which the lower part of her body and arms resemble the body of a snake and in which snake heads take the place of her hands. She has the limited ability to wield magic.
- In her first appearance, Reptilla and the other members of Salem’s Seven took on the Fantastic Four several times, serving as Scratch’s elite warriors. In the final encounter, Agatha Harkness mystically banished the Salem’s Seven back to New Salem. Later, the Seven turned the New Salem community against Agatha and executed her by burning her at the stake. They planned to sacrifice the Vision and the Scarlet Witch as well, but the two heroes broke free and battled Vertigo of the Salem’s Seven, who now wielded the mystical might of all 665 New Salemites. The Scarlet Witch channeled Vertigo’s power into a mountain, which then exploded, killing the Salem’s Seven and the New Salem residents, including Reptilla.
- However, the story of Reptilla and the Salem’s Seven was far from over. The spirit of the deceased member of the Seven, Thornn, captured the Scarlet Witch and took her to a supernatural dimension ruled by an entity called Samhain. The Vision, along with the spirit of Agatha Harkness, defeated Samhain and the Salem’s Seven, leaving Samhain trapped within the spirits of his own allies, Reptilla and the Salem’s Seven.
- In AVENGERS ANNUAL#2000, Reptilla and the Salem’s Seven were restored to life by Daboia, a mystical ally of Nicholas Scratch, and are probably once again residing in New Salem, waiting for a writer to put them to good use.
- Recently, Reptilla and the Salem's Seven reappeared to help a seemingly returned Agatha Harkness in her plot to resurrect her son Nicholas Scratch. After she and the rest of the Salem's Seven engaged the Fantastic Four in battle, they discovered that Agatha was actually Nicholas Scratch and that Scratch wanted to bring Shuma Gorath back into the world. His plan worked for a time, but the FF and the Salem's Seven teamed up to defeat Nicholas and Shuma Gorath. Nicholas Scratch was then sent back to Hell, where he formed an alliance with Mephisto. The whereabouts of Reptilla and the Salem's Seven are currently unknown.
- SIDE NOTE: Arnim Zola once created a proto-husk version of Reptilla that was destroyed by Deadpool.
