The Silencer

• The Silencer’s real name and history are quite unknown at this point. In fact, she has only made one appearance to date in a Marvel Comic. In this appearance, the Silencer used her powers to create pockets of null sound in order to escape the Big House, a superhuman holding facility created by Dr. Henry Pym of the Avengers. At the Big House, all of the inmates, and the facility itself, had been shrunk down to ant size to keep them at a manageable level. Plus, it made things cheaper in terms of food, clothing, and cleanup. Unfortunately, She-Hulk was there at the time and helped round up all the tiny villains, although it’s entirely possible that the Silencer managed to slip away unnoticed, for she was nowhere to be found after the initial escape.
• I will say right now that I totally love this new villainess. So far, she’s made only one appearance, but I want to see more of her. She has a fantastic costume, a great name, and cool powers, so hopefully we will be seeing more of the Silencer in the future.
