Titania of the Grapplers

• Titania was Davida DeVito, a former protege of Ann “Auntie Freeze” Fraley, a former leading female wrestler. Titania was the name that she wrestled under. She was a part of a group of wrestling women called the Grapplers. Letha, Poundcakes, and Screaming Mimi were a part of this team with her. Titania was a skilled wrestler and hand-to-hand combatant who was known for her highly acrobatic style of fighting. She also had her strength augmented by the Power Broker, and she also used small, one-inch diameter discs that contained explosives or other materials as throwing weapons. Before she had her strength augmented by the power Broker, Titania’s suit was the source of her great strength.
• In her first appearance, Titania and the Grapplers, along with Thundra, invaded Project: Pegasus in order to sabotage and destroy the place. She encountered and was defeated by Giant-Man (formerly Black Goliath). She also encountered the Dazzler while in prison. After her parole, it was then that Titania had her strength augmented by the Power Broker. She and the other Grapplers later became legitimate professional wrestlers in the UCWF, which made them happy because it meant that they could make money without having to resort to petty crime.
• However, things took a turn for the worse. After she lost a match to a new Grappler called Battleaxe, who thus became the new women’s champion of the UCWF, Titania became enraged and attacked Battleaxe in full public view. Everyone, including her friends in the Grapplers, frowned on Titania’s bad sportsmanship. Later, while taking a shower, Titania was approached and slain by Caprice of the Scourge organization, who gunned Titania down with an explosive bullet and shouted, “Justice is served!”, the signature line of the Scourge organization.
