Hmmm…Chance' -- That's really what 'life' is all about…Isn't it?...

What exactly does the word 'chance' mean to you?...Is it luck?...how about a risk or a gamble?...or Maybe an opportunity or even a possibility?...Whatever the word 'chance' means to you, keep that in mind as you read this page on chances and what chances mean to me and why I think they are good for everyone to take...

One of the biggest chances someone took in the history of the World -- I would have to say would have been Noah, when he built the Ark…He had to trust what God was telling him about the rains coming and that he needed to build a large vessel so he could escape the floods that were to come…so…in fact Noah took a chance that very few of us today would be willing to take…for one, it never rained for 40 days and 40 nights in the history of our land…Right?…Also the ridicule that he would have received from disbeliever' -- both strangers and his own family laughed at him and thought he was crazy for taking a chance on building such a large vessel -- let alone, that even if it rained and flooded the Earth, they thought that Noah's vessel would surely sink -- after all it was large enough to house 2 of each animal on Earth and anyone willing to take the chance that what he was telling them was true…You do have to realize that nothing…NOTHING…had ever been built that large before, so needless to say it was unbelievable…Do you agree that the chance that Noah took so many years ago was by far the biggest chance that anyone has ever taken to date?…If not for Noah taking the chance that he did -- life would not exist as we know it today!…

We all take chances everyday…When we leave to go to work -- we take a risk of being involved in an accident… After all they say that more accidents happen close to home…or…When we go for a walk -- once again we take a chance and really these chances are an everyday occurrence -- yet we never think of them as being chances…Am I right there?…

In the scheme of our daily lives we all take some kind of chance -- for most of us we try to play it safe with our life -- Re: not exceeding the speed limit while driving, wearing your seat belt or even simply trusting a friend, a bus or a taxi cab driver your with -- to do the right thing…Yet its still a chance that we are all willing to take on without even giving it a second thought…

I believe that chances are a definite way of life, well at least for an Aries woman they are *lol*...Becca does take chances and maybe just a little too much, but hey I think that’s what life is really suppose to be all about *ss*...Don't you agree?…Do you realize how very mundane your life would be if you didn’t take a chance on anything?...Very boring to say the least...Chances add vitality too life, an excitement if you will...

Throughout history people have taken' chances some good and some bad, but that’s the funny thing about the word 'chance' you never know if it will be good or bad, until all is said and done...That is where they got the word 'Chance" from cause one just never knows ahead of time what the outcome will be…I do realize that taking chances can an most of the time is scary, believe me I know, but I really and truly believe that if we never took a chance on anything that we would never learn and grow from that risk...

If you stop to think about it, all of you have taken' a chance of some kind at least once in your lifetime, whether that chance you took was to try to win some money by gambling or whether the chance you took was to take that long walk down the aisle to say 'I do'...all in all it makes no difference a 'Chance is a Chance...

Becca probably takes greater chances than most of you do or will, but I can’t help that, its my birth sign, hey I have to blame it on something, Don’t I? *lol*...Becca would love to someday even try sky diving, I think that would be so awesome, but I’m not to sure I am that crazy yet *lmsao*...Maybe someday though who knows...Seriously though I do think that life has to be full of chances or 'life just isn’t life'...

I think in order to get ahead we all have to take the chance first, to go forth and conquer as they say...So go for the gusto that life has to offer...Take that chance...Live out your dreams...Reach for the rainbow...Go for the gold...Be all that you can be...Believe in yourself enough to take a risk...I think that if you do then you too will be surprised at what you can do...

In a little bit I am about to under take probably the biggest chance I will ever take in my lifetime and I don’t know if it will work, or even what I will find at the end of the rainbow, and yes I am scared but for my own piece of mind I need to do this and to try to help one of my best friends find the happiness that I know he does deserve...so to me chances are a way of life and Becca will never change her mind about that, not in this lifetime anyway...

I do hope that all of you out there will think about what I said concerning chances -- they are good and they are bad, but well worth the shot...To me life would be so very boring if we never took a chance...So climb the highest mountain...Swim in the deepest ocean...Swing on a star and take the ride of your lifetime...
