Friends are the Rare Treasures of One's Life

Most of these pics were takin within the first couple of months after I arrived here...We use to go more often than we have been lately, mainly due to the lack of time with my b/f  working as well as studying for his MCP exams (which he would like to take by the end of this year), we just don't seem to have much time anymore...but...hopefully in the near future that will change, because everyone needs some R-n-R and what better way to get the much needed rest and relaxation than to be surrounded by mother nature at her very best *ss*...

Say while your here grab a burger we just cooked them on the barbie *big smile*...

This is the waterfall that's at Lane Cove Park where we like to frequent...The ducks just love to play in and around it -- especially on a hot day...

This is a pic of the contented ducks (I mentioned above) swimming in the lake at the park...They just glide on the water like its nothing...and...the baby duckies are so cute with the downy fur that they have...Its neat to watch the duck parents intermingle with their baby ducks...They do keep a very good watch on their young -- even when crossing the street where cars travel...

Just in case you don't recognize this bird at all -- its a Cock-a-too, you know Detective Columbos pet bird...well they also frequent the park and especially at feeding time, there are heaps of them...they will actually eat bread right out of your hand...and...when they squack you know it cause it is soooo very loud...
