| Spadix of banana | 1(large). |
| Turmeric powder | 1/2tsp. |

| 3Cloves,2Green cardamom,2 sticks Cinnamon | Roasted & powdered. |
| Ginger paste | 1tbsp. |
| Black pepper powder | 1/4tsp. |
| Cummin seed powder | 1/2tsp. |

| Sugar | 1/2 tsp. |
| Salt | to taste. |
| Oil | As required. |
| Boiled and mashed potatoes | 6. |
| Besan | 1tbsp. |
| Procedure : | |
| For Filling :
To prepare the flowers from a large spadix of banana, peel of the red covering sheaths & pick out the yellow flowers. Remove the gynoecium from the centre & the basal transparent scale leaves from the bottom. Chop the flowers & soak in water for atleast one hours. Pressure cook chopped flowers by adding salt & turmeric(shouldn't get overcooked). Squeeze out the water. Heat oil in a pan & add ginger paste, green chillies, cummin seed powder . Fry & add banana flowers, salt, sugar to taste. Add garam masala powder and mix well. |

| For casing :
Mash potatoes by adding salt and besan divide into 10-12 equal portions. Shape each portion into a cup and fill with filling. Close up the cup and shape into a flat oval shaped chop. Heat oil in a pan and deep fry till golden brown. |

| Potato (Boiled and mashed) | 8(large). |
| Turmeric powder | 1/2tsp. |
| *Garam masala | 1tsp. |
| 3Cloves,2Green cardamom,2 sticks Cinnamon | Roasted & powdered. |
| Ginger paste | 1tbsp. |
| Black pepper powder | 1/4tsp. |
| Cummin seed powder | 1/2tsp. |

| Besan | 3 - 4 tbsp. |

| For Filling :
Mash the potatoes. Heat oil in a pan & add ginger paste, green chillies, cummin seed powder . Fry & add mashed potatoes, salt, sugar to taste. Mix well. Divide in 10-12 equal parts and make small balls. |

| For casing :
Prepare besan paste. Press the small balls and flatten it. Cover with besan paste, heat oil in a pan and deep fry till golden brown. |
