Ingradients
Papaya (green) | 1 large (750gms) |
Sugar | ½ kg. |
Raisins (Kaju, Kismis) | 2 tsps. |
Juice of lemon | 2 tsp |
Salt | To taste |
Masturd seed | 1/2 tsp |
Procedure
Peel and deseed papaya. Slice the papaya thinly into slices. Add 1/2 tsp of oil in a vessel, add masturd seed and papaya. Add sugar and water, till it forms a thin syrup.Add raisins, salt and boil till syrup thickens.Remove and add lemon juice. Stir.
Cool, serve with main course as accompaniment

Sugar | 150 gms |
Raisins (Kaju, Kismis) | 2 tsps. |

Paanch Foron | 1/2 tsp |
Ginger (grated) | 1/2 tsp |
oil | 1/2 tsp |
Procedure
Cut tomato into four pieces. Add 1/2 tsp of oil in a vessel, add paanch foron, ginger (1/2 amount)and tomato. Add sugar and water, till it forms a thin syrup. Add raisins, salt and boil till syrup thickens. Add rest ginfer and remove.
Cool. Sprinkle paanch foron powder and serve with main course as accompaniment
