Papaya Chutney

Serving - 4-6

Ingradients

Papaya (green) 1 large (750gms)
Sugar ½ kg.
Raisins (Kaju, Kismis) 2 tsps.
Juice of lemon 2 tsp
Salt To taste
Masturd seed 1/2 tsp
   

Procedure

Peel and deseed papaya. Slice the papaya thinly into slices. Add 1/2 tsp of oil in a vessel, add masturd seed and papaya. Add sugar and water, till it forms a thin syrup.Add raisins, salt and boil till syrup thickens.Remove and add lemon juice. Stir.

Cool, serve with main course as accompaniment


Tomato Chutney

Serving - 4-6

Ingradients

Tomato red 500 gms
Sugar 150 gms
Raisins (Kaju, Kismis) 2 tsps.
Salt To taste
Paanch Foron 1/2 tsp
Ginger (grated) 1/2 tsp
oil 1/2 tsp

Procedure

Cut tomato into four pieces. Add 1/2 tsp of oil in a vessel, add paanch foron, ginger (1/2 amount)and tomato. Add sugar and water, till it forms a thin syrup. Add raisins, salt and boil till syrup thickens. Add rest ginfer and remove.

Cool. Sprinkle paanch foron powder and serve with main course as accompaniment
