Ok I have profiles all over the internet. Who knows what I've said about myself on any given day, so this is what I have to say about me on this day.

My Birthday s January 31,1950 @ 6:10am don't remember the day, but I'm sure I could find it on the internet. You can find anything on the internet. I found my last husband on the internet. I also found where to buy my printer for my webtv on the internet. And I have found lots of friends on the internet too.

So what all do you want to know about me? I was a cute little girl with pigtails and Until I was 12 I lived in a house that had no indoor plumbing. There was a front yard pump in the neighbors yard. There was a group of 5 houses in a row out in the country.

First house was a farm house that sold eggs. I was attacked by their rooster when I was about 8 years old. I remember crawling up on the car to try to get away from him, he kept pecking at my legs. What ever I done it sure got him mad.

Next was the house my parents lived when I was born, but soon moved next door. This is the house that had the pump in the front yard. I remember one time the pump would not work one morning and I did not save any water to prime the pump, so I knocked on the door there, and a very old man came to the door in his long johns, and when he turned around his backside was not buttoned up and I saw his old wrinkled butt. That was a big deal for a little kid to see!

Then came our house. We had an outhouse out back ( well everybody did there) and we had a big round tub to take baths in the kitchen, where Mom heated water on the electric stove. We had fuel oil for heat in our potbellied looking heater stove. There was a big tank outside the house that the fuel oil delivery truck use to come and fill up. I remember I got nailed to the wooden rack once. A long nail was sticking out and one of my brothers, maybe my sister shoved me backwards, and there I was stuck. Nailed to the tank of fuel oil. Somebody came to rescue me.

And then there was the time Mom was washing blue jeans in the wringer washer. So she had the rollers set further apart and the rollers were getting old and had that torn off roller material. I was suppose to watch the washer for something so while waiting I was tracing that torn off stuff on the roller with my finger. Next thing I knew it sucked my hand in. I started screaming for help. It started taking my arm in I screamed louder, and when my elbow went in, I remember thinking that soon my whole body would go thru, but finally MOM can and hit something to make it stop. Seems to me she took her time getting there too.

And finally another time my sister was playing with matches and caught the outhouse on fire, and that spread out to the field out behind all of the houses. I remember coming home from school, and all the neighbors were out beating the fire in the field with wet blankets and mops then the firetruck showed up. But we were country no fire hydrant so they had to wait for the water truck to come. I ask my sister what happened, She said she did not do it, BUT, she saw these 2 ants crawling across this match and their legs scratched it and it started the match on fire and then the outhouse on fire so she left the little house quickly. LOL, such a story! I ran right away to tell on her. Iwas still mad at her, She was only a year younger than me but she got mad at me for something and threw MARY, my very very favorite doll down the outhouse hole. yuck!

Next was a little tiny house. It sat differently than the rest besides being a lot smaller the front door was on the side of the house. It opened to a small kitchen then on to a bedroom. But it did have an indoor pump at the sink. There was a little old old old woman who lived there. I thought she was 500 years old, LOL.

and last there was a newer 1950s brick house that had a Florida look about it. An older couple lived there who traveled a lot. I think they had indoor plumbing, toilet and all. And out behind their house was a huge old willow tree...

I enjoyed living there at that time. I am glad we lived with out plumbing, they had plumbing at school and church so we had the best of both worlds. Dad at one time took a stick and called it a devineing stick , looked like a big  Y , he held the top of the Y and walked around the yard, holding it straight out at waist high looking for water. If he found any the bottom of the Y would point down. Well he found some under the house, so they dug thru the basement, good thing the basement was earth, and then one day we had a pump in our kitchen too. I thought we was rich ~ we had running water in the house.

When I was 12 we moved from there. I remember asking why??????? MOM said our 99 year lease was up and we could not renew it so we had to go. She was pretty smart, that kept me quiet for a long time trying to figure out that one. I could ask questions with the best of them. Remember saddle shoes that had that thick leather souls. I wore a hole in my shoes (both of them) walking back and forth to the teacher with questions on everything???? .............

funny I had no idea what I would write here and I picked my childhood. Well one memory brings on another and next thing you know, "ya gots a story!". Anyway I am the oldest of my parents children #1 of 5. And after Dad died MOM remarried and had 3 more. We was pregnant together !!!!! I was 18 and she was 18 years older than me. Yup. She had her baby 3 months before me. Then she had another one 9 months later. (2 babys in 1 year) then 1 in the next year. There is 20 years between me and the last one. Thats another story though.

So ( a shorted version now) Married (Leroy Earl) @ 17, pregnant (Leroy Earl II) @ 18, divorced @ 22, married (William Francis)@ 25, grandma (Kwaun), @ 39, widow @ 39, married (William Patrick) @ 41, grandma @ 44 (Ksha), divorced @ 49, married (Andrew Lamar) @ 49, mother-in-law (Dawn Rose-Marie) @ 52, grandma to 2 (Phillissity & Ryan), @ 52 ...........( enough already)
