  • 2 cups of Tart Apples (peeled & sliced)
  • 2 Naval Oranges (peeled & cut into segments)
  • 2 Pink Grapefruits (peeled & cut into segments)
  • 9 ounces or 1 ½ cups of Pitted Prunes
  • Mint Sprigs (Podina) (for garnishing)
  • ½ tsp. of Cinnamon (Pisi Dal Cheeni)
  • 2 tbsp. of Honey (Shehed)
  • 1 tbsp. of Lemon Juice (Nimbu Ka Arakh)
  • 1 ½ cups of Orange Juice


  1. In a 2 to 3 quart saucepan combine the apples, prunes, and orange juice; bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer until the apples are tender but not soft, (about 10 minutes). Remove from heat; stir in honey, juice and cinnamon. Cool, cover, and chill.
  2. Stir in oranges and grapefruit. To serve, spoon fruits with their liquid into serving dishes.
  3. Garnish with Mint Sprigs.
