1 tsp. Black Pepper (Pisi Kaali Mirch) (powdered)
-
Salt (to taste)
-
2 tsp. Garlic Paste (Pisa Lehsan)
-
2 tsp. Ginger Paste (Pisi Adrak)
-
A few drops of Red Food Color
-
1 cup or 200 grams of

-
Cooking Oil (for brushing)
- Mix all of the ingredients together, (except the garnish ingredients.) Set aside for 30 minutes.
- About 20 minutes before serving, place the
paneer cheese
on a drip pan and bake in a 350 degree pre-heated oven for about 10 minutes.
- Remove from oven, brush with oil and bake for another 10 minutes.
Alternatively, you can grill on a griller or a barbecue pit. (The drippings should definitely have a means of escape, or else the paneer will get soggy.)
- Serve hot, garnished with lemon and onion rings.
