With such rapid change in these grand times, to reflect upon one's history is always most important. This site proudly presents this area's schools proud past and that solid foundation has been laid, on which the current Bluewater Athletic Association (the merger of Grey County Interscholastic Athletic Conference and Bruce County Interscholastic Athletic Association) can build for themselves and for the future generations of student-athletes into the next millenium. People in these communities realize that the in embracing that long standing tradition, people also realize themselves having a sense of who they are, where they came from and what values they hold. It's these skills, knowledge and values that help to make contributing, caring and couragous citizens-YOU. This will be that that focus, continuing the overall development of that student learning and community involvement. Having those very pilars in those communities, there is an appreciation we all have for any and all who respond, volunteer, and challenge others to show tremendous support for not only their own school's section site but helping to continue the building the whole of this district high school website. That tremendous support, school spirit and hometown pride is just what keeps this site going. And hopefully that desire and commitment continues into the 21st Century. With such ongoing leadership and positive influence, nothing can stop such a power, one which allows you to go full circle, through many life experiences and exceed all expectations of us. That is the school spirit we must have to continue on into the future. Athletics yesterday, today and forever will continue to be a very important part of school life and student development, physically, socially and academically. This is our very future. Each individual school's section site has or will have an editor, who will try to designate many historical points of interest and will attempt to give many people a new insight into that particular community. Support this group as they are currently gathering as much school memorabilia from others so to share memories and renew acquaintances. Add any memorabilia by emailing any photos, audio/video, newspaper clippings, logos/crests, scanned images, etc. to keep your school's section site up-to-date and historically valuable and interesting to see and come back to again and again. Your designated editor will post that information they receive as soon as possible. After you have completed your perusal of the site, drop into the school's guestbook and register your full name (include maiden), email address and website, if applicable, to create a school database of student information and a link for other former students to find each other as an alumni. After leaving your entry in your school's guestbook, email your other known alumni buddies and come back to your school's section and chat at the section's message board, where you can spend as much time as you wish with friends and former schoolmates and eagerly anticipate the moment when arrive there too, to meet and relive all the many school-related experiences. You are also encouraged to visit the GBCIAAC guestbook and message board, which addresses the whole of Grey and Bruce school's students, former and current. Before you leave home please help the organzing committee editors of your school's section site by providing any update on students that we can't locate or on any information this site missed or is missing. Take a relaxing trip down memory lane and reminisce the past, cherish the present and celebrate the future.
