HANK WILLIAMS: The Complete Website
Awards And Other Honors |
|
Music had not yet reached the level of having awards shows in Hank's lifetime. There was no Country Music Association, no Grammy Awards and nine years too early for a Country Music Hall of Fame. Although Hank has won awards from virtually all facets of the music industry after his death, during his career most awards he received were from 'Billboard Magazine' and other publications such as 'Country Song Round-Up'. One would be hard pressed to compile a complete list of everything Hank has won in the last 50 years. So listed here are some of the most prestigeous honors bestowed upon Hank both in life and in death. |
