When God created teachers,
He gave us special friends.
To help us understand His world
And truly comprehend,
The beauty and the wonder
Of everything we see,
And become a better person
With each discovery.
When God created teachers,
He gave us special guides
To show us ways in which to grow
So we can all decide
How to live and how to do
What's right instead of wrong,
To lead us so that we can lead
And learn how to be strong,
Why God created teachers,
In his wisdom and His grace,
Was to help us learn to make our world
A better, wiser place.
MRS. NEPSTAD
I take great pride in presenting to you, one of the finest lady's, one will ever know.
Yes, she was my school teacher for Grade 5 and 6.
I will forever, as long as I live have respect for her.
She taught me in about 1963-65, at the Valhalla Centre School.
She has many talents, but the one I remember most, is her patience and kindness to each and every one.
I don't recall her ever raising her voice in class.
Out of all the teachers I had, she is that special one,
that will forever stay in my heart.
I remember one day a bit ago, she had asked me to call her "Clara".
But to me she is "Mrs Nepstad", and will always remain that.
Mrs. Nepstad will be, if I am correct, "93" years young this summer.
The bottom picture is on her "90th" birthday.
Like I mentioned, she has many talents.
The roses in the background were taken from her garden.
She has won awards for her flower gardens.
She also paints pictures, and does a wonderful job at that as well.
She also used to play the piano at church on Sundays, and very gifted at that too.
Mrs. Neptad, is a "GEM", that God put here on this earth for a reason.
And that "GEM" is still with us today, spreading the good word, of kind thoughts to each and everyone she meets.
