A DIXIELAND DELIGHTS

It's the scent of honeysuckle haunting the breeze upon a Summer's eve,

And crisp Autumn's chills creeping down shadowed trails,

And old man Winter's brief glancing blow, darkening the garden's path,

But, all is for naught,

For an early Spring's arrival is but days away to paint the garden with color once again,

Oh, I am Blessed to be a Southerner, never ceasing to plant,

I would Never wish to enjoy God's Bounty elsewhere on Earth. Amen!!
