I Do Cry
I try not to bring the world
Into my problems
so I keep them hidden in my heart.
I try to take care of it all myself
but thats when it seems to fall apart.
You might be surprised, but I do cry
It just so happens at the moment, my eyes are dry.
Sometimes I might even shout
I just hide the noise from coming right out.
I hide it well,
I've always tried to be like you
I may act like superman
but somtimes I do cry.
I cry sometimes
until reality is no longer dry.
then I fly. I fly away...
I've always been the rock
A hero, your strength
people lean on me,
so we all won't break.
I am not strong enough
I need time away
from this world I call fake
to simply accept who I am
in a world of tragic mistakes.
I face my problems alone
In the corner of my room
Sometimes I feel the tear drops fall
And sometimes I feel nothing at all.
