OUR CATS EXPERIENCE

Yes we went to see CATS live on October 18th, and it was wonderful! We all dressed in our costumes and we got our picture taken by a photographer, who said we'd be in the paper! And it was so moving when Grizabella sang the last verse of Memory, *Touch me! It's so easy to leave me! All alone with the memory, of my days in the sun!* everyone in the theatre was crying. We got auto graphs from the Rum Tum Tugger, Grizabella, Skimbleshanks, Victoria, and Cassandra! We did take a picture of us outside of the theatre but it isn't very good, Demeter's parents kept on calling her to come to the car and so in the picture she's not looking at the camera. We were privelleged to get an interview with the conductor of the production, Logan Medland. Which can be read by clicking on the link on the bottom of the page. We all got tee-shirts and also we got the souvenier book, which is where the picture at the top of the page is from. It was truly much better than the video, our Tugger was great! He put the video Tugger to shame, he was a purr-fect Tugger! And the Cassandra was great! She was like a real cat, I mean, in the Moments of happiness she looked like how a real cat would! And during the intermission, we stood over at the orchestra looking at Old Deuteronomy sitting on the stage(we weren't allowed to go up on stage and get autographs like in other performances[security])and we finally kept trying to make him laugh he gave out a little chuckle! One thing we found funny was that during the Adressing of Cats Skimble was behind Deuteronomy mouthing the lyrics while Deuteronomy was singing! Nevertheless we had the greatest time, it was truly the greatest moment of our lives and the memory will always stay in our hearts of that night.
