The purpose of this site is to present some results concerning the Collatz Conjecture and related functions defined to explore the properties of this fascinating problem.

It does not prove any results concerning these functions, but proposes models of their behavior and compares them to the experimental calculations made by the author and other people.

In particular, it shows models or estimations for

Threads are defined and all their properties detailed, as well as the means to build their characteristic functions.

Some considerations about Loops are given.

Another section is dedicated to Finesse Record Holders chasing, anyone having some free CPU time can join the search.

New results and the chase status will be presented in the News Section.

I recommend visiting some other sites for other or more information about the Collatz Problem
